That time of year is fast approaching, and we at As Good As It Gets are hard at work creating affordable and delicious holiday menus! For the first time this year, we will be offering holiday take out for groups of four or more. Some of our new Holiday menu items will be choice of: Turkey, sliced ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, baked macaroni and cheese, au gratin potatoes, herbed carrots, asparagus, grilled brussels sprouts, corn, cranberry sauce, seasonal appetizers, and of course PIES! On Sunday, our As Good As It Gets staff served 250 guests at The Reserve Golf Club in Hillsboro for the Amy Roloff Charity Foundation Auction. The evening began with passed appetizers. We made Fire-Grilled Mini Peppers, Fruit Kebobs, Mini Turkey Tostadas, Sausage and Pepper Skewers, Spicy Sausage and Grilled Pineapple Skewers, and Grilled and Chilled Shrimp. The appetizers were followed by steak with a demi glaze, Smothered Chicken, herbed roasted red potatoes, chilled asparagus with sour cream sauce, Berrylicious salad, and Caesar salad. We had a great time, and our donation helps support Shriners Hospital and the Special Olympics!
